 Rowbotham, Thomas Charles Leeson [1823-1874]

Painted Italian Lake views although he never visited there. His father Thomas Leeson [1782-1853]

Thomas Miles Richardson Jr. [1813-1890] travelled and painted widely in Europe.  His major book SKETCHES IN ITALY, SWITZERLAND, FRANCE &c. Richardson's Sketches on the Continent. Thomas McLean, London 1837 printed at A Ducotes & C. Hullmandells Lithographic Establishments. 1st. and only edition. Elephant Folio. [56 x 38 cms.]

His use of bright colours partly helps distinguish him from  Thomas Charles Leeson Rowbotham [1823-1874]

Both artists had some of their original paintings published in chromolithography, and both with similar styles makes it quite difficult to differentiate between their works.
